Hi! My name is Maya and I'm the artist behind Seeing Colours!

I'm an alternative illustrator based in Yorkshire, UK where I create everything from my home studio, with the help of my little assistant, Marceline. I first started my small business while studying at university and have now graduated with  a BA in Fine Art, and an MFA in Illustration.

My practice incorporates a variety of media with a big focus in digital painting and illustration. My work is soft and colourful, exploring themes of fantasy, nature and nostalgia with darker undertones, which creates a balance between the cute and the unsettling.

My work is currently available in the form of prints and stickers in my shop, but i am also open for personal commissions as well as client work!​​​
